Five more deaths were reported from dengue in the past 24 hours till Thursday morning.
With this, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh rose to 514 this year.
Among the deaths, three occurred in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and two in Dhaka division.
During the period, 570 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, 138 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka division, 99 under the Dhaka North City Corporation, and 98 under the DSCC.
A total of 94,884 dengue cases have been reported since 1 January.
Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 1,705 people, making it the deadliest year on record.
According to the DGHS, there were 3,21,179 cases and 3,18,749 recoveries in 2023.
