Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah and two other commis-sioners – Md Zahurul Haque and Achiya Khatun tendered their resignation yesterday.
“ACC chairman and two commissioners have submitted their resignations . . . they left the office quiet-ly soon after resigning at about 2:30 pm,” a senior official of the anti-corruption commission said.
ACC Secretary Khorsheda Yasmin saw them off at the office gate.
The reason behind their resignation could not be known immediately, the official added.
Later, Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah told journalists that he resigned for personal reasons.
Sources said, they were scheduled to meet the newly formed ACC Reform Commission in the afternoon but the meeting was postponed, said another official.
