3 Addl IGPs sent on retirement

The government has sent three Additional Inspector General of Police (Addl IGPs) on retirement, ac-cording to separate gazette notifications issued by the ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.
The officials are: Md Shahabuddin Khan, Addl-IGP of Highway Police, Barrister Md Harun-or-Rashid, Additional IGP of Police Headquarters and Dr Kha Mohid Uddin, Additional IGP (Supernumerary), currently attached to the Tourist Police.
The notification said they have been sent on retirement from government service in the public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.
They will be entitled to get all retirement benefits in accordance with the regulations, it added.
