12 DIGs, 22 SPs get new posting

As part of the ongoing reshuffle in police administration, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) yester-day posted 12 Deputy Inspector General’s (DIGs) of police to their new assignments at the Police Head-quarters.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs in another circular yesterday transferred 22 Superintendents of Police (SPs) to their new stations.
According to the circular of the Police Headquarters – the present DIG Md Abdullah Al Mahmud of po-lice headquarters has been given the charge of DIG Audit and Inspection while DIG Akram Hossain has been posted as DIG Crime Management.
DIG Abu Naser Mohammad Khaled has been given the charge of DIG Administration while the previous DIG Administration Md Aminul Islam was posted as DIG Training.
DIG Mosleh Uddin Ahmed has been given the charge of DIG Headquarters while DIG Ataul Kibria was made DIG Logistics-1 and DIG Md Ruhul Amin was given the charge of DIG Logistics-2.
DIG Dr Shoyeb Reaz Alam was given the charge of DIG Development while DIG Md Rezaui Karim was made DIG Operations.
DIG Md Kamrul Ahsan was made DIG Confidential while DIG Taptun Nasrin was posted as DIG Fi-nance and DIG Kazi Ziauddin was kept at his earlier position as DIG Human Resource.
According to the circular of the Home Ministry- the current SP Netrakona Md Foyez Ahmed was posted to the range DIG office, Mymensingh, while SP Barisal Md Wahidul Islam was attached with the office of the range DIG Rangpur.
The current SP of Jamalpur Md Kamruzzaman was posted to the Police Telecom, Dhaka as its SP while SP Panchagarh SM Sirajul Huda was posted to the In-service Training Centre, Gazipur as its Comman-dant.
SP Gopalganj Al Bely Afifa was attached with the office of the range DIG Rajshahi while SP Shariatpur Md Mahbubul Alam was posted to the Police Staff College (PSC) as its SP.
The current SP Bandarban Shaikot Shahin was posted to the In-service Training Centre, Kushtia as its Commandant while SP Rangamati Mir Abu Tawhid was transferred to the Police Training Centre (PTC) Noakhali as its SP.
Md Tarek Bin Rashid SP Luxmipur was posted to Bangladesh Police Academy Sharda, Rajshahi as its SP while SP Nilphamari Md Mokbul Hossain was posted to the In-service Police Training Centre, Sat-khira as its Commandant.
The present SP of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Maksuda Akhter Khanom was posted as SP Meherpur while Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Muhammad Abdur Rakib was posted to Chandpur as SP.
At present Commandant, In-service Training Centre Kushtia, Dr SM Faorhad Hossain was made SP Rangamati while newly promoted SP at Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) Mirza Sayem Mahmud was made SP Netrakona.
The present Commandant In-service Training Centre, Satkhira Mohammad Belayet Hossain was posted to Barisal as SP while SP Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Md Mizanur Rahman was made SP Go-palganj and another SP of the PBI Md Mizanur Rahman Munshi was posted to Panchagarh as its SP.
The current SP at the Special Branch (SB), Dhaka Syed Rafiqul Islam was made SP Jamalpur while SP CID Md Nazrul Islam was posted to Shariatpur as its SP.
The present SP PBI Md Shahidullah Kawser was made SP Bandarban while SP Aktar Hossain at range DIG office Rangpur was made SP Luxmipur and SP attached with the office of the range DIG office, Rajshahi Md Morshed Alam was made SP Nilphamari.
All the officers have been instructed to join their new stations immediately.
