The police has recovered a 9mm pistol which was robbed by miscreants from Uttara East police station with other arms and ammunition during anti-discrimination student movement.
OC of Uttara East Thana police station told that they recovered the pistol Saturday from a drain near Nawab Habibullah Model School & College at Uttara in the city.
However, none was arrested in this connection.
OC also said many firearms were looted from the police station during Anti-discrimination student movement.
Police has recovered some of the firearms; OC said adding that drive for recovery of other firearms is continuing.
