BNP Joint Secretary General Emran Saleh Prince has warned that former prime minister Sheikh Hasina must be tried for her indulgence in killing people and destroying the country’s democracy.
He also called upon the interim government to expedite the extradition of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina from India to drag her before a court for justice.
He made the call while addressing a coordination meeting with the leaders and activists of BNP and its different front and associate bodies at Haluaghat Upazila in Mymensingh on Friday.
Sheikh Hasina is engaged in hatching conspiracy staying in India to foil the achievement of the student movement, he said
The Indian government must be held accountable and responsible for giving her (Hasina) the space, said the BNP leader.
