Rail service snapped

Dhaka’s rail communications with other parts of the country have been suspended as quota protesters put up barricade on the level crossing in Dhaka’s Mohakhali.
According to Ferdous Biswas, Officer-in-Charge of the Dhaka Railway Police Station, the protesters gathered there around 2 pm on Tuesday.
Since then, rail communications with Dhaka have been cut off, causing significant delays and inconven-iences for passengers and freight services, he said.
