ACC sues Rajuk director Mobarok, his wife

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against Director (Development Control-2) of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) Md Mobarok Hossain and his wife Shahana Parveen for amassing wealth “illegally”.
ACC assistant director Asif Al Mahmud filed two separate cases with the Commission’s integrated Dha-ka district office-1 on Tuesday.
According to the statement of a case filed against Mobarok only, he has acquired wealth worth over Taka 41.46 lakh beyond known source of his income.
Mobarok Hossain and his wife Shahana Parveen were sued in another case. As per the case statement, Shahana and Mobarok in collusion with each other acquired illegal wealth worth Taka 1.58 crore.
