A Correspondent:
Chandpur: Three people were killed and three others were injured in a collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto rickshaw on Chandpur-Cumilla regional highway yesterday.
One of the deceased was identified as Sobuj ,25, while identities of two others could not be known.
Injured autorickshaw driver, Ahad, and another person are undergoing treatment at Chandpur General Hospital.

Later, police arrived to normalize traffic movement on the road.
Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hajiganj Police Station, the auto rickshaw and the sand-laden truck involved in the accident were seized but the truck driver managed to flee.
Legal action will be taken, said the OC.
