The heat wave that is prevailing across the country may abate from Thursday.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) made this disclosure in its weather forecast for the next three days.
Meteorologist Md Umar Faruk informed the media that rainfall is occurring in some parts of the country.
The temperature may decline a little bit tomorrow, he added.
BSS adds: Daytime temperatures may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country, and the severity of the prevailing heat wave may decrease, and it may abate in some places over the country, according to the BMD in its outlook.
The weather may remain mainly dry, with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.
It said the prevailing heat wave may abate in some places in the eastern part of the country tomorrow.
It also predicted rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind at a few places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Barishal divisions, with hail at isolated places.
