BNP’s ‘wrong’ political strategy has left its leadership perpetually embroiled in conspiracies: Quader

Staff Reporter:

Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday delivered a scathing critique of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), attributing their leaders and activists’ frustration to what he described as “wrong politics.”

Quader’s statements were conveyed through a statement issued to the media.

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, accused BNP of continuously engaging in activities aimed at undermining the country and its people through destructive political strategies. “BNP’s political strategy has led them into a quagmire of errors, leaving their leadership visionless and perpetually embroiled in conspiracies against the nation’s welfare,” Quader asserted.

He further lambasted the BNP for lacking respect towards Bangladesh’s constitutional framework and systematic governance, labeling the party as an adversary of democracy and branding it as internationally recognised for its “terror-related” activities.

Contrasting the BNP’s approach with that of the Awami League, Quader lauded the efforts of AL leaders and activists who, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangabandhu’s daughter, strive to uphold the independence, sovereignty, and democracy of Bangladesh. He expressed unwavering confidence in the AL’s mission to navigate the country through challenges towards a bright future.

“Guided by Sheikh Hasina’s leadership, the Awami League is committed to steering Bangladesh towards becoming a developed, prosperous, safe, and smart nation,” Quader affirmed, emphasising the party’s dedication to the country’s advancement and well-being.
