Body found inside luggage at bus terminal in Faridpur

Faridpur: Police have discovered the body of an unidentified person in locked luggage at the Faridpur Municipal Bus Terminal around 11:00 am on Saturday.
According to the police, the locked luggage was lying near the entrance of the bus terminal, close to the Golden Line bus counter.
The luggage drew the attention of the people there around 10:00 am, and upon failing to locate the own-er, they reported it to the police.
Later, officers from Kotwali Police Station arrived at the scene around 11 am, opened the luggage, and found a body inside.
Onlookers said that the deceased was covered with a lungi and sweater.
Hasanuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Faridpur Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the matter.
The estimated age of the unidentified deceased is around 45 years. Investigations are underway over the matter. The body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy, he said.
