Two people were killed and another was injured in a collision between a motorbike and a truck on 300-ft Road under Khilkhet police station in Dhaka early Friday.
One of the deceased is Md Sajeeb Hossain, 35, son of Nabab Miah of Nawab Katara under Bangshal police station in the capital.
The injured Deen Mohammad, 35, a resident of Faridpur Sadar upazila, lives in the Jinjira area of Dhaka’s Keraniganj.
Khiltkhet police station Sub-Inspector Hafizur Rahman said the accident happened around 3:45am when the bike carrying the trio and the truck collided on the 300-ft Road, leaving the unidentified man dead on the spot and the two critically injured.
The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where injured Sajeeb succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment around 7am, he said, quoting the physicians.
