State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid yesterday asked his officials of the minis-try for ensuring reasonable contribution for uninterrupted power and energy supply in the country, as the challenge will be increased in the global context in future.
“If you work with skill and sincerity, you will face all the challenges and the coming days will be better and better,” he said this while exchanging views with his ministry officials.
The state minister said, “Customer satisfaction is our main objective. Work cordially from your position then the customer will be satisfied.”
He said that it is necessary to work on gas exploration, Bhola gas pipeline, gas master plan and deep drilling urgently, adding, “Dynamic pricing will come so quick decisions is needed with transforming the situation.”
Nasrul Hamid asked both of the divisions of the ministry to prepare a 100-day plan as soon as possible.
Senior Secretary of the Power Division Md Habibur Rahman, Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (EPRC) Chairman Md Mokabbir Hossain, Sustainable And Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA) Chairman Munira Sultana, Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) Chair-man Md Mahbubur Rahman, Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) Chairman Ajay Kumar Chakraborty, Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Md Nurul Alam, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Chairman ABM Azad, Petrobangla Chairman Janendra Nath Sarkar and officials were present.
