Scottish MP greets Momen on his victory

Foysol Choudhury, a member of the Scottish Parliament for Lothian, has congratulated Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen on his successful re-election in the 12th parliamentary election, held on Sunday.
Choudhury, convener of the Cross-Party Group on Bangladesh in the Scottish Parliament, praised the Bangladesh government’s commitment to ensuring free and fair elections.
“I offer you my best wishes for your future role in this refreshed administration, which I know you will tackle with the good performance you displayed as Foreign Minister,” he wrote in a letter sent to Dr Momen on Monday.
