Nasim seeks vote for ‘boat’ to resist evil party BNP

Staff Reporter:

Joint General Secretary of Awami League (AL) AFM Bahauddin Nasim yesterday urged people to cast vote for boat in the 12th parliamentary election to resist BNP-Jamaat’s terrorism and continue the devel-opment spree of the country.
“The people don’t want an undemocratic government in the country,” he told a view-exchange meeting with teachers and students of Siddheswari College in the city.
Nasim also urged people to cast their vote in favor of AL’s electoral symbol ‘boat’ on January 7.
BNP-Jamaat has become isolated from the people due to their terrorist activities in the country and the party killed people as well as carried out arson attacks on vehicles in the name of the movement, he add-ed.
The ‘boat’ is a symbol of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the symbol is a spirit of the Liberation War, he said.
He hoped the countrymen would cast their vote in favor of AL-nominated candidates to uphold the country’s development pace.
Earlier, Nasim went to Motijheel Ideal School and College and sought vote for boat to them.
