Kushtia: Awami League Joint General Secretary and its nominated candidate for Kushtia-3 constituency Mahbubul Alam Hanif yesterday said that the time for dialogue with BNP has passed so there is no chance to sit for dialogue now.
Elections will be held on January 7, 2024. So, there is no opportunity to negotiate with BNP, he said.
Hanif said these to journalists before joining election campaign in different areas from his residence at PTI Road this morning.
Hanif also said, “Whatever the plan of BNP is on January 7 election. How their terrorist and subversive activities have been suppressed in the past. Their activities will be suppressed in future also”.
District Awami League General Secretary Azgar Ali, Joint General Secretary Engineer Farukuzzaman, District Mohila Awami League General Secretary Khandkar Sams Tanim Mukti and other party leaders, among others, were present.
