Ctg: A 6-year-old girl who suffered burn injuries in a fire incident in Chattogram’s Boalkhali upazila died at Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in Dhaka early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Aritri Chakrabarty, daughter of Sanjay Chakrabarty from Bidgram of Popadia union in Boalkhali upazila.
According to deceased’s family members, Aritri got burnt when her clothes caught fire from a candle kept at worship place on Monday. She was taken to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Later, doctors referred her to the Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in Dhaka for better treatment where she died in the early morning.
Popadia union parishad member Kishore Vanjo confirmed her death.
