13-year-old boy electrocuted in Jashore

Jashore: A 13-year-old boy was electrocuted in Jashore’s Abhaynagar upazila on Monday.
The deceased was Nipun, a class six student at Baghutia Secondary School in the upazila.
The incident happened in Baghutia village when Nipun went to the roof of his uncle’s house and pulled an electric wire, causing him to be electrocuted.
Later, he was taken to Abhaynagar Upazila Health Complex, where a duty doctor declared him dead.
Abhaynagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge, SM Akikul Islam, confirmed the matter.
An unnatural death case has been filed in this connection, said the OC.
