Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in separate drives arrested two Jubo Dal leaders, including a fugitive ac-cused, for their involvement in subversive activities.
The arrested are Md. Najmus Shakib, 25, member of Jatrabari thana unite from Mirhazaribag area in the city and fugitive accused Jahid Hossain, 45, from Gunoboha village under Boalmari police station in Faridpur district.
A team of RAB-10, on a tip-off, conducted separate drives in Jatrabri area of the capital and Alfadanga police station of Faridpur district from Sunday evening to Monday morning and arrested them, deputy director of RAB-10 Aminul Islam told yesterday.
During the preliminary interrogation, the arrested admitted their involvement in the sabotage plans at various times.
The arrested persons were handed over to the respective police stations.
