Bijoy express train starts operation

A Correspondent:

Jamalpur: Responding to the people’s demand, Railway authorities has begun operation of Bijoy express train up to Jamalpur Railway station from Mymensing.
People became jubilant as the train reached the Jamalpur Railway station around 8 pm on Friday night.
Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Mirza Azam, MP welcomed the train by handing over flower to the passengers at the station.
PM’s former Principal Secretary Abul Kalam Azad was present.
Mayor of Jamalpur Municipality and President of Jamalpur Press Club among others were present at that time.
Station Master, Md Asad Uz Zaman said the train will arrive at Jamalpur Railway Station at 6:10 pm from Chattogram and leave Jamalpur Station for Chattogram at 8:10 pm every day except on Tuesday.
He said 227 seats were allotted for the passengers of Jamalpur.
Earlier, the train used to ply from Mymensingh to Chattogram.
