Fugitive accused held in city

Anti Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Bangladesh Police arrested a fugitive accused on the charge of fraud from Kadamtoli police station area in the city on Friday night.
The arrested was identified as Sayed Rezaul Karim, 42, son of Sayed Motahar Uddin from Jolisa village under Dumki police station of Patuakhali district, said an ATU press release.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Anti Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Bangladesh Police conducted a drive in city’s Kadamtoli area and arrested him around 9:05 pm on Friday.
Accused Syed Rezaul Karim was hiding in various places of the country including Sirajganj, Patuakhali, police officials said.
