The overall situation in Ashulia, Mirpur and other relevant areas is also being closely monitored.
BGB is conducting technology-driven live monitoring through drones and body-worn cameras to effectively assess ground-level situations and take prompt action when necessary, the release mentioned.
Surveillance has been intensified, particularly over important roads, intersections and sensitive areas, using drones. Footage from body-worn cameras worn by BGB personnel on duty is also being monitored to ensure transparency and accountability in their operations.
Live footage from drones and body-worn cameras is being directly monitored from a central monitoring cell at BGB headquarters.
The system enables real-time assessment of ground situations, coordination with relevant units and the provision of necessary operational directives.
BGB is working with the highest professionalism, restraint and responsibility to ensure the safety of people and property, maintain normal movement and preserve a peaceful environment in industrial areas.
Coordinated operations with the local administration and other law enforcement agencies, alongside close technology-based monitoring, will continue to maintain normalcy, the BGB added.
