Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir departed Dhaka yesterday for France this morning to participate in the 2nd INTERPOL Global Biosecurity Conference.
The conference is scheduled to take place in Lyon from November 3 to 5.
The three-day international conference, organized by INTERPOL’s Bioterrorism Prevention Unit, will be held at INTERPOL Headquarters in Lyon, bringing together representatives of law enforcement agencies and partner organizations from different regions of the world, as well as biosecurity experts and academics.
