ADDIS ABABA, Oct 5, 2026 (GM/NET) : A drone strike on a camp for internally displaced people in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region has killed at least eight people, a humanitarian source and witness said Monday.
The strike in Sheraro took place Sunday morning, according to the aid worker, who told AFP that “eight people, including a child, were killed” and six people were seriously wounded. A witness also confirmed the strike, saying “a mother along with her four children and one grandson were killed… I also know that three other people died,” they said.
