Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has reconstituted 13 monitoring committees under 13 High Court Judges for subordinate courts in eight divisions across the country as per The Supreme Court of Bangladesh (High Court Division Rules), 1973.
The Supreme Court administration issued a circular on October 30 in this regard.
As per the circular, signed by High Court Division Deputy Registrar (Administration and Judicial) Md Mizanur Rahman, Justice Md Habibul Gani has been given responsibility of Rajshahi-2 division, respon-sibility of Barishal division was given to Justice Md Akram Hossain Chowdhury, Dhaka-1 to Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam, Khulna-1 to Justice Md Jahangir Hossain, Khulna-2 to Justice Zafar Ahmed.
Justice Bhishmadev Chakrabortty has been given responsibility of the committee for Dhaka-2, Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman given responsibility to monitor Chattogram-1 division, Justice Md Kamrul Hossain Mollah given responsibility to monitor Chattogram-2 division, Justice S M Kuddus Zaman giv-en responsibility to monitor Rajshahi-1 division, Justice Mohammad Ali given responsibility to monitor Rangpur-2 division, Justice Shahed Nuruddin given responsibility to monitor Rangpur-1 division.
Subordinate courts under Mymensingh division will be monitored by Justice Md Zakir Hossain, while Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman has been given responsibility to monitor subordinate courts under Sylhet di-vision.
