BNP Standing Committee Member and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas is ex-pected to return home on Wednesday (September 2), following five months of treatment in Singa-pore and Malaysia.
BNP Media Cell said yesterday.
On March 11, Mirza Abbas suddenly lost consciousness during iftar. He was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the city, where a medical team comprising neurological specialists subsequently per-formed brain surgery and doctors advised him to undergo physiotherapy, leading to his transfer to Malaysia. He was then taken by air ambulance to Singapore General Hospital on March 15. He was later shifted to Prince Court Medical Centre, where he underwent physiotherapy for about a month, resulting in significant improvement in his condition.
