BNP Media Cell’s graphic designer relieved of

A member of the BNP Media Cell’s digital team and graphic designer, Tanim Sufiani, has been re-lieved of all responsibilities on Monday following the publication of information on social media about his previous political activities.
The decision was announced in a notice signed by BNP Media Cell Convener Dr Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel. The notice said the decision took effect from its notice issue day.
According to the notice, the authorities of the BNP Media Cell came across information published on social media regarding Sufiani’s previous political activities. The matters were considered con-trary to professional transparency, mutual trust and the organization’s internal policies.
In light of this, the relevant authorities decided to relieve Sufiani of all responsibilities at the BNP Media Cell, including his position as a graphic designer on the digital team, effective Aug 24.
The notice further said that following his removal, Sufiani would no longer have any representation or association using the BNP Media Cell’s name, identity, position or responsibilities. He would also have no further involvement in the internal activities of the Media Cell.
