BNP Secretary General and LGRD Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday expressed deep sor-row at the death of Monowara Begum Momtaz, mother of Barishal district BNP Convening Committee member SM Moniruzzaman Monir.
She was 80.
In a condolence message, Fakhrul expressed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
He described Monowara Begum Momtaz as a pious and benevolent woman who was well-known and respected among her neighbors.
