DCCI’s former president Shahjahan Khan passes away

Mohammad Shahjahan Khan, former President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, breathed his last on Monday, 22nd May, in Bangkok, Thailand.
He died at 11:40 pm Bangladesh time while undergoing treatment in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, He was 73 years old, said a press release of DCCI.
Shahjahan Khan served as president of DCCI in 2014. In addition, he was the senior vice president of Dhaka Chamber in 2007 and 2010. He was the Managing Director (MD) of SS Shipping and Trading Limited and SS Shipping and Chartering Limited. His company is involved in the seagoing ship busi-ness.
President of DCCI Barrister Md. Sameer Sattar and members of the Board of Directors mourn and ex-press their deep condolences for the death of Shahjahan Khan.
