“The party was born with the aim of establishing multi-party democracy and the right to freedom of speech and the party inherently carries the spirit of revolution,” he said while speaking at a doa mahfil for late Zakir Hossain Nannu, a former vice-president of Juba Dal, held at the BNP’s central office in the city’s Naya Paltan.
Rizvi urged the party leaders and activists to move forward by upholding the party’s ideals, believing not in despair but in hard work.
