Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon yesterday called for deeper cooperation with Tur-key and Malaysia to boost the quality of the country’s education, highlighting opportunities for expand-ing university partnership and knowledge-sharing.
He made the call during separate meetings with Turkish Ambassador Ramis Sen and Malaysian High Commissioner Mohd Shuhada Othman at his Secretariat office here yesterday.
Milon said experience and coordinated initiatives from countries like Turkey and Malaysia can play a vital role in further improving our education system.
He informed the envoys that Bangladesh government is working tirelessly to ensure quality education and ready to collaborate with experienced international partners to accelerate progress.
In talks with the Turkish envoy, both sides discussed strengthening long-standing ties, particularly in higher education and trade.
Ambassador Sen noted that relations between the two countries are already “very strong” and Ankara is keen to expand cooperation between universities and promote business links.
Milon expressed hope that closer academic collaboration would enhance standard in higher education and further solidify bilateral relations.
