PM spends wonderful moments with BIAM school students

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has spent wonderful moments with the students of Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management (BIAM) Laboratory School in the city yesterday.
After the inaugural ceremony of laying the foundation stone of a training center-cum-dormitory building at the BIAM Foundation in the city’s Eskaton area this morning, the premier went to the students of the nearby school, Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said.
He said when the Prime Minister was entering the BIAM Foundation to join the ceremony, students of the nearby BIAM Laboratory School waved at him from their classrooms to greet him.
The matter drew the attention of the Prime Minister, Ruman said, adding, at that time, the premier also responded by waving at the students.
The additional press secretary said after the completion of the function, Tarique Rahman went to the school and visited three classrooms there.
At the school, the Prime Minister engaged in light playful interaction with the children and spent won-derful moments. The children also became joyful to have the Prime Minister close to them.
They shook hands with the Prime Minister while some took autographs.
Ruman said the premier first went to a second grade classroom of the school and exchanged greetings with the students.
At that time, the children presented various drawings they made in front of the Prime Minister.
The children also expressed about their aim in life. Seeing this development of close emotional connec-tions between between the Prime Minister and the students, the teachers became emotional.
Later, the Prime Minister also spoke with the teachers of the school. Entering the school at 11:05 am, the Prime Minister stayed there for about 15 minutes.
Earlier, the prime minister laid the foundation stone of a training center-cum-dormitory building at BI-AM Foundation.
Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani presided over the function while Prime Minister’s Adviser Md. Ismail Zabihullah, Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar and BIAM Foundation Director General Md. Abdul Malek were present.
