Staff Reporter:

Police have arrested two people in connection with an extortion attempt and a shooting incident at a garment factory in Kafrul area in the capital early yesterday.

Police said on April 18, when factory owner Kamrul Islam, 33, was working at his office in the garment factory 12–13 unidentified miscreants entered the office forcibly and demanded Tk 1 crore, threatening to kill him if their demand was not met.
