Holy Family Hospital hosts Bangla New Year celebrations

The Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital hosted a colourful and festive celebration programme marking the start of Bangla New Year 1433 on the health facility’s premises, Maghbazar in the capital.

Holy Family Alumni Association arranged the programme to uphold traditional culture and reflect on past memories.

Different food stalls were set up within the hospital boundaries featuring traditional cuisines. Some other stalls offered creative works for the visitors like painting traditional and folk motifs and designs on the face and hands.

Bioscope and nagordola, once popular in rural areas, were also put up.
