Finance Minister hospitalized

Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has been admitted to a city hospital after he fell sick.
“Sir (Khosru) felt unwell and was admitted to United Hospital in Gulshan,” his personal assistant Shahi-duzzaman said yesterday.
He said Khosru’s condition has improved and he is feeling much better yesterday (Sunday). “Sir is now under close observation by doctors,” Shahid said.
Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, was elected from the Chattogram-11 constituency in the 13th parliamentary election. He was sworn in as a cabinet member of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on February 17.
