Hasan Mahmud says Whole world praising Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh

Staff Reporter:

Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday said, as Bangladesh has been transformed under Sheikh Hasina’s leadership, now the whole world is praising Sheikh Hasina and Bangladesh.
“The BNP can’t just praise it. BNP leaders have lost their mind after hearing the praise of the whole world about Bangladesh. Now they’re talking gibberish (abol-tabol),” he said while inaugurating more than 100 projects in four unions with the funding of different departments in the premises adjacent to the newly constructed Telipara Bridge of Shilk Union of Rangunia Upazila of Chattogram.
“BNP leaders Mirza Fakhrul, Gayeshwar Babu, Khandaker Mosharraf, Rizvi Ahmed and Amir Khasru criticise us. I’ll tell them, don’t worry and keep cool. You also accept that today the country has changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” added Hasan.
“If anyone indulges in malpractices by selling the name of the party, tough action will be taken against them,” Hasan at the time warned his party men.
Hasan Mahmud also expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Education Minister Dipu Moni’s mother Rahima Wadud.
Saddened by the news of the death of 98-year-old Rahima Wadud, wife of language activist late MA Wadud, on Saturday afternoon, the information minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the family members.
