Execution of verdict in Ahsanullah Master murder case demanded

The speakers in a discussion meeting said Ahsanullah Master was a leader of the masses, and urged to follow his ideology.
They also urged the immediate execution of the verdict on the murder case of the freedom fighter and former Member of Parliament Ahsanullah Master.
The speakers said Ahsanullah worked as a friend of workers and ordinary people of Gazipur, a district of industrial density area, but he was murdered for political reasons.
They said this discussion meeting on “The role of members of parliament to establish peace and justice” organized by the Ahsanullah Master Smriti Parishad, was held at the Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka on Sat-urday.
Former food minister Advocate Kamrul Islam MP Advocate Kamrul said the nation will remember the contributions of Ahsanullah to the Liberation War with great respect.
“We have to derive from his wisdom and learning of establishing the right justice of the people,” he said, also the chief guest of the program.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Zahid Ahsan Russel, also the son of Ahsanullah Master, recalled the life and works of his father.
Advocate Azmat Ullah Khan, Mayor Candidate of the City Corporation poll of Gazipur, and advocate Abdul Baten were present at the function as the special guests.
Ataur Rahman, secretary of Ahsan Ullah Master Smriti Parishad, moderated the programs.
Ahsanullah, a popular politician from Gazipur and Awami League MP, was shot to death on May 7, 2004, while addressing a program in Togi of Gazipur.
Ahsanullah Master Smriti Parishad will observe his murder day at Gazipur through different programs.
