Mahfuj mourns Badruddin Omar’s death

Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam yesterday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of prominent writer, researcher and Jatiya Mukti Council President Badruddin Umar.
In a message of condolence, the adviser said, “Badruddin Umar was a man of versatile talents. His death is an irreparable loss for the country.”
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Badruddin Umar passed away yesterday due to old-age complications at a city hospital at the age of 94.
