3 workers die after inhaling toxic gas in septic tank

Munshiganj: Three construction workers died after inhaling toxic gas from a septic tank in Khaleast of Munshiganj district town on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Ibrahim, Firoz and Shahin.
Deputy assistant director of Munshiganj Fire Service, Shafiqul Islam, said a worker entered into the sep-tic tank with 10 feet depth of an under-constructed building at Aftab Plaza alley in the morning.
Getting no response from the worker, two more workers got into it but fell unconscious.
Later, local people informed the matter to the local Fire Service, who recovered the bodies of three workers.
Mohammad Firoz, additional superintendent of Munshiganj Police, said initially it is suspected that the workers died due to inhaling toxic gas inside the tank.
