Allocation of 270 flats for Bridge Authority officials, employees cancelled

The government has cancelled the temporary allocation of 270 under-construction flats for the officials and employees of the Bangladesh Bridge Authority.

This decision was made at the 115th board meeting of the Bridge Authority on Thursday with Road Transport and Bridges Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan in the chair, read a press release.

The meeting approved the recommendations of the investigation committee formed over allegations of flat construction and allocation violating rules in the ongoing housing project of the Bridge Authority.

The decision came following the committee’s recommendations.
