Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam yesterday directed to enhance the quality of health services at the Central Police Hospital (CPH) in the capital.
“Perform duties with professionalism, sincerity and dedication to further enhance the quality of services at the Central Police Hospital,” he ordered the on duty doctors after visiting various de-partments of the hospital at Rajarbagh in the capital.
The police chief also stressed the need for making the CPH up-to-date, he said.
The IGP inspected the hospital’s digital medical service receiving process (registration, OPD, con-sultation, medicine store, report delivery,) emergency department, radiology and imaging, ICU, dialysis unit and other departments. During the inspection, he witnessed the service receiving pro-cess of the service-receiving police members and their family members and provided necessary guidance, a press release of the Police Headquarters.
Central Police Hospital Director (DIG) Sardar Nurul Amin, Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Dr. Md. Emdadul Haque and Superintendent Dr. ABM Md. Khorshed Alam were present.
