Belarus considers Bangladesh as an important partner in S Asia

Staff Reporter:

Belarus Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has said his country considers Bangladesh “an important politi-cal, trade, and economic partner” in South Asia.
Over the years, the countries have established effective mechanisms of interaction in different areas, in-cluding political consultations and the Joint Belarus-Bangladesh Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, he added.
The minister hoped that both countries, with the active involvement of their foreign offices, would con-tinue to develop constructive dialogue and bilateral partnership for the benefit of their citizens.
Aleinik recently congratulated Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen on the occasion of Bangladesh’s In-dependence Day.
