Awami League (AL) leaders pledged that the AL will continue its fight against terrorism, militancy, cor-ruption and arson sabotage to build a non-communal country.
“AL will resist terrorism, militancy and arson attackers,” the leaders told a huge rally in city’s historic Suhrawardy Udyan yesterday, marking the Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The country is moving forward by materializing the dream of Bangabandhu under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, they said.
AL Presidium Member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Bir Bikram said, “The BNP has become isolated from countrymen for their terrorist activities.”
Advocate Qamrul Islam said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will resist terrorism and militancy from the country.
AL Presidium Member Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin said AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for the development of country and its people.
AL Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak said the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election was held in line with the constitution for protecting the country’s independence and democracy.
AL Presidium Member Abdur Rahman said Awami League will continue fight against terrorism, mili-tancy, corruption and arson sabotage.
AL Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said the country will move forward under the leader-ship of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
AL Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim said the party led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will resist terrorism, militancy, corruption and arson attacks.
AL joint general secretary Dr. Dipu Moni, organizing secretary Mirza Azam, Dhaka city south unit of AL president Abu Ahmed Mannafi and its general secretary Humayun Kabir, Dhaka city north AL presi-dent Sheikh Bazlur Rahman and its general secretary SM Mannan Kochi, among others, spoke in the meeting attended by most of the newly-elected lawmakers of the ruling party.
AL leaders with thousands of activists came to historic Suhrawardy Udyan with procession from differ-ent areas in city, making the area into a human sea.
