Farmer run over by train in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar: A farmer died after being run over by the Cox’s Bazar Express train in Cox’s Bazar’s Eidgaon upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdus Sattar, 45, a resident of Jumchhari area of the Islampur union of the upazila.
The incident happened at around 8:00 am on Wednesday.
Eidgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC), Shuvo Ranjan Chakma, confirmed the matter.
He said the farmer was going to work in the Islamabad union when the Cox’s Bazar Express train ran him over, killing him on the spot.
