Engineer Habibul Aziz, former Additional Chief Engineer of LGED, (son of late Azizul Haque and late Mukima Khatun), died of a second time cardiac arrest during his treatment at capital’s Square Hospital on Tuesday afternoon (20 October, 2026). Inna lillahi…rajiun. He was 63.
He left behind his wife, only son, family members and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his sudden demise.
He was buried at his family graveyard at his village home Kalitara, Sonapur in Noakhali Sadar. His Namaj-e-Janaza was held after Esha prayers.
A reputed engineer and brilliant officer Habibul Aziz went through his whole career with honesty and sober personality.
His Qulkhawani will be held at his village home on Saturday (31 October, 2026).
