The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appointed
Mohammad Salahuddin as the batting coach of the national team on an interim
basis, replacing Mohammad Ashraful.
In a press release, the BCB stated that Ashraful will be reassigned to a new
role within the Board.
Ashraful was appointed as the national team’s batting coach in November 2025.
The BCB thanks him for his service and efforts during this period with the
Bangladesh team.
Mohammad Salahuddin has been serving as the BCB’s High Performance Head Coach
but will be overseeing the national team batting until the Board appoints a
new batting coach.
