Russian envoy meets PM’s defence adviser

Russian Ambassador Alexander Grigoryevich Khozin yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr A K M Shamsul Islam at his office in Dhaka.
The ambassador led a three-member delegation during the meeting held at the Armed Forces Division (AFD) in Dhaka Cantonment, said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate press release this afternoon.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and expressed hope to further strengthen bilateral military and strategic cooperation, the release added.
