BNP Standing Committee member and Adviser to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas has been shifted from the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to a cabin at Singapore General Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Sources said Abbas was taken to Singapore by air ambulance on 15 March from Evercare Hospital in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area for advanced medical care.
According to the latest update on Friday, he was moved from the CCU to a cabin early in the morning. Following doctors’ advice, he has started speaking gradually with visitors and well-wishers.
Meanwhile, another BNP Standing Committee member and Prime Minister’s Adviser, Nazrul Islam Khan, also travelled to Singapore on Tuesday (31 March) for medical treatment.
He is expected to receive treatment at the National University Hospital Singapore.
