PM visits BNP central office

BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman yesterday visited the BNP central office at city’s Naya Paltan.
He arrived at the central office around 7:20pm while party leaders and activists welcomed him up-on his arrival.
This is the first time Tarique Rahman has come at the party’s Naya Paltan office after assuming office as Prime Minister.
Earlier, he had visited the Naya Paltan office once after returning Dhaka from London.
A large number of party leaders and activists have gathered in the Naya Paltan area since the after-noon to mark his arrival. They chanted slogans, making the entire area vibrant.
Members of law enforcement agencies were seen performing their duties to ensure the safety and security for the event.
BNP sources said that the Prime Minister is expected to exchange views with party leaders and dis-cuss various organizational matters at the office.
